And We Wonder Why

As the moon sits up in the sky,
we look down and wonder why.
We wonder why some people must kill,
kill ourselves, kill our world.
We ask god to save our souls,
but that is but the only thing,
the only thing that will save us
from this horrible fling.
The fling with Satan
the fling with death,
everyone is dying, and we wonder why.
We wonder on, not seeing why.
But I know.
I know what is killing us all,
it's hate and jealousy.
Why must we insist on killing,
why can't we all get along?
Its not much harder then hating at all.
So I ask, so I pray that one wonderful day,
it will all go away.
And we wonder why...
