Let me shout out...

by Brit, age 15, from US

Let me shout out my inequalities
So the world will know that they are not losers alone.
And they are not as wonderful as they say, too.
Let me pour down my unconvincing falsities
So the world will see that I am a beggar and
A liar and a thief as much as they are, too.
Let me be desperate and hollow
With unforgiving peace that tempts my
Surrender to the bashful, boastful bastards
Who reign so far over me.
Let me be bent and wasteful. Let me cry.
Let me put down my fears and live for
What I have never had the guts to believe.
Let me know that I am alone for once in
Disheartened depression for the world that doesn't
Know yet how truly crooked we all are for
Our lies fooling another liar in our own hypocrisy.
