AH-911 Huey
by Jordon Gelburd, age 14, from US
The Statue of Liberty has been transformed into
nothing but ashes and America as we know it has become one big
bomb.
Dum-dum-dee-dum,
Dum-dum-dee-dam.
The sky erupts in scenes of morbid agony
As grenades paint the scenes like shoting starts.
Cannonballs stream like pumplins on Holloween.
Gunpowder licks its pick
While machinguns spit out their best
And leave the atomic bombs to do the rest.
Visions of blood,
Soundwaves of terror
Explode into the air like death.
Cries of the soldiers,
Barks of the generals
Race thru the ears of civilians
As they drop into lifeless innocent heaps
The Statue of Liberty has been transformed into
nothing but ashes and America as we know it has become one big
bomb.
Dum-dum-dee-dum,
Dum-dum-dee-dam.
Nerves tear apart
And devastation has hit the USA's heart.
Many thanks to the battles
That could bring cowboys half-alive flying off their saddles.
Many thanks to the War of Vietnam.
Dum-dum-dee-dum,
Dum-dum-dee-dam.
