She Thinks

she thinks
she sees this wave
of flesh
biting beneath the contents of her mind
screaming for air
to let known
that her mind exists
creeping so slowly
into an abyss
since she lacks such parts
that only confidence can reap
oh how
the moon usurps her glow
and her brightness
shuddered and lost
as she is forced
to close her mouth
and grow up in a world of silence
