My Friend

Life is full of twist and turns will abound,
but your the greatest friend I ever have found.

We are like toes to feet or a sock to a shoe,
we some how fit your the paper and I'mÊthe glue.

Your always there when I am in need,
and in your heart I find not one ounce of greed.

Whenever your sad or blue
remember, my heart goes out to you.

One of these days love you will surely find,
but keep a good hold on your heart and mind.

And on that day when your put to the test,
I know your light will out shine the rest.

Even if I'm not there, don't fear,
cause in my heart I'm always near.

I see people stop in awe of your shine,
and I am so proud your a friend of mine.

So greet today with a smile upon your face,
and step into life with a bran-new pace.
