Lovers Walk
by Kimberly Saxen, age 16
Two lovers walk,
Along the shore,
Holding eachother,
Asking for nothing more.
Only leaving,
Footprints in the sand,
Grasping tight,
To the others hand.
Through everything,
They've both been strong,
Sitting and talking,
All night long.
Holding eachother,
Like lovers should,
Knowing they made it,
Knowing they would.
Crashing waves,
As the sun sets,
Sounds and images,
Of the day they met.
Closer they move,
Not ready to part,
They both hold in there hand,
The others heart.
As the sun starts to fall,
Beneath the crashing waves,
There lips lock tightly,
In the warm embrace.
The world around spinning,
As there lips softly meet,
Embraced in this moment,
He sweeps her off her feet.
The sun now laying,
Deep beneath the sea,
As she says to him,
"Forever this night,
Just you and me,
I'll remember this moment,
For eternity,
The night our hearts met,
Just yours and mine,
Together forever,
For the rest of time."
