Missing You
by Dan Nedzwecky, age 17, from US
I know I'll miss you when you're gone,
But the time has come for me to move on.
I'll miss your smile very much,
But most of all I'll miss your touch.
For when you're gone and I'm still here,
I'll be alone shedding lonesome tears.
I wish I could turn back the hands of time,
To make for time for you to be mine.
The distance between us, close yet so far,
I have to move on, but its just too hard.
Our friendship I'll treasure for years to come,
I try to let you go, but my heart just goes numb.
